Christmas is always special. For an independent family garden centre like ourselves it’s also a very important time in our calendar. With the summer over and the dark winter days approaching we can’t wait to get the shop ready for Christmas, this process for us begins late September. There is so much to do to get the shop ready for the middle of October the transformation from Summer to Christmas is a joy to behold.

We close down one room at the centre while we convert it to our grotto where, with the lights dimmed and our display of illuminated animations, we make children’s eyes sparkle. With a giant Santa surveying his domain there is lots to see.

Our range of artificial Christmas trees are on display in our glass house along with decorations, swags and a fine selection of Christmas ornaments and lights.

Things really begin to get busy by the last weekend in November when the first real Christmas trees arrive at our Wigan site. This year we have a bigger selection than ever from which to choose including Nordman, Fraser and lodge pole pines. We are offering Free Delivery to anywhere in the Wigan area so you will not have to worry about pine needles in your car.
